Anicca Maleedy-Main is an Australian freelance writer and journalist whose work explores themes including animal welfare, gender-based violence, parenting and friendship. She has a Master's degree in Professional Writing and has had work published in Islet, Catapult Magazine, The Sleepers Almanac, Marathon Review, Not Very Quiet Journal, and Cathexis Northwest among others. She lives deep in the northern suburbs of Melbourne with her husband, kids and dogs.
